Practices:

Spring Ball:
Practices begin in April. Weather permitting we will be outside asap. We hope to get some gym space in case the weather doesn't cooperate. Be sure to read through all this information.Practices will be held at Bates Park or Emricson Park. An outdoor field schedule will be released. Practice times are first come first serve. If you cannot get a time you need, please reach out to see what we can arrange.

we will make decisions about field conditions by 1-2pm if the weather is iffy. Sometimes we may ask for help checking field conditions, so be prepared to go out and help check fields if needed! :)

Fall Ball:

6u: 1hr practices
8u: 1-1.5hr practices

This is a document that the board is working on putting together in conjunction with our training helpers. It lists the skills expected at each level and some drills to go along with that. There are so many good resources out there for drills etc these days. We made the document to help keep the training consistent for the girls. The best advice is to keep it simple! 

Equipment:
You will be issued WGSL equipment at the beginning of every season and it will be returned at the end of every season. Each team will receive a bucket of balls, catcher's gear, team bat, and game balls. **Helmets and fielding masks will be handed out on an as-needed basis.

The equipment box behind field 6 will have some additional equipment for practices including tees, bownets, pancake gloves, etc. This equipment will need to be shared and replaced back in the box after each use. There is a pitching machine for use in the box by the batting cage. 

Keys:
Each coach will receive 2 keys. One opens the outer shed door by the parking lot and the other opens field boxes. The shed is often used to distribute and collect equipment or other items needed to get to coaches. 

First Aid:
Each coach will receive a stocked first aid kit. There is also a first aid kit and AED in the box behind field 6.
