Storm is a local travel softball program located in Woodstock, IL. Tryouts are held in July. We begin play at the end of August through October. Then we head inside for indoor practices starting in January. We head back outside in April to play tournaments in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. All home games and practices are held at Bates Park in Woodstock, IL.

Our mission is to improve our players abilities in all aspects, while also teaching sportsmanship and respect for the game. The Storm program is designed as a travel lite program, allowing girls a travel ball experience at lower costs as well as allowing for the ability to be a multi-sport athlete.

10U Information: 
Storm is a Part- time  travel program at the 10U level. Storm girls play both Spring rec ball as well as on their Storm Tournament team. Try-outs are in mid/late July and practices run through the winter. Team will play 1-2 Fall tournaments, 3-4 Spring tournaments and some scrimmages during the week starting in April. Around 40 games total. 10U fee for Storm is $750 ($525 for Storm, $225 Spring rec fee paid at time of spring registration). This includes spring in house registration, fall and spring uniforms, socks, belt, umpire costs, field prep fees and tournament fees. In addition, all 10U players are required to participate in two fundraisers throughout the season. Funds from these fundraisers cover costs for additional jerseys, pants, equipment bags, helmets, winter practice facility, additional tournament fees, etc.

14U:
14U Storm is a full time travel team. Try-outs are in mid/late July and practices run through the winter. The team will potentially participate in a league style organization (12-20 weekday games) or schedule friendly games during the week. The 14U team will play 3-5 Fall tournaments and 5-7 Spring/Summer tournaments with the possibility of 1-2 overnight tournaments as well as 1-2 winter tournaments.  Around 60-70 games total.
The 14U Storm fee is $1,200. This includes spring and fall uniforms, socks, belt, umpire costs and tournament fees. In addition, players are required to participate in two fundraisers throughout the season. Funds from these fundraisers cover costs for additional jerseys, pants, equipment bags, helmets, winter practice facility, additional tournament fees, etc.
